During my wanderings through this interweb thingy I came across this resto-mod '65 Stang Vert. A really nice piece of machinery, I'm just not too sure about the flatscreen in the dash.
What I wanted to ask though is what's with these roll bars? The Shelby cars seem to have them, the regular convertibles don't? I could go on a wikipedia hunt, but I think that oppo is a better place for an ignorant European to gain some knowledge.

I can't tell if that is an actual roll bar or just a light bar. Most people throw on "light bars" just as a flair item for looks. No structural purpose, just looks.

The flat screen in the dash is nothing more than poor taste on the car owner's part. I agree that it looks terrible.
The roll-bar hoop is probably for structural bracing, I would also guess it's there as an actual roll-bar. I could be wrong though.

That thing is hideous. Overdone bling mobile built for professional sports douches. I bet this would kill it and look better doing it.

It could be a real roll bar, some of the.. I think they are called styling bars, I don't know I'm way fucking tired, do act as real roll bars.
Its not THAT bad, I mean I would have gone more stock vs restomod on the interior, but I've seen way worse things done to cars. You guys make it out like its some donk with KFC painted on the doors

My guess is it is a cosmetic add on. Do not see any additional bracing to make a true roll bar. Could be wrong, though. I don't think I would trust my head and neck to it.

It is definitely an ugly looking roll bar he is pushing a lot of hp in a vert though so it could be structural all around pretty bad taste expensive car but ugly add ons sadly.
